Additional Business Services We Provide
These are the services Canadian business owners ask for most once their corporation or business name is registered. Each one can be ordered on its own — you don’t need to have incorporated with us. Here’s what each service covers and when you’re likely to need it.
CRA & WSIB/WCB Account Setup
Get your CRA business number and program accounts opened — GST/HST, payroll or import/export — plus WSIB coverage in Ontario or WCB registration in your province. Required before you can charge tax, pay staff or take on many contracts.
Minute Book
A complete corporate minute book with your articles, by-laws, registers of directors, shareholders and officers, resolutions and share certificates. Corporations across Canada are required to keep these records current.
Corporate Kits
A ready-to-use corporate kit combining your minute book, seal, share certificates and registers in one binder — the standard package most banks, accountants and lawyers expect to see.
Upgrade Minute Book Kit
Already have a partial or outdated minute book? We review what’s missing, prepare the outstanding resolutions and registers, and bring your records up to date in a proper binder.
Corporate Embosser Seal
A custom embosser stamping your corporate name, incorporation number and year of incorporation onto share certificates, resolutions and executed documents.
Corporate Tax Return (T2)
Sole Proprietorship Tax Return (T1)
Preparation of your personal T1 return with the T2125 business statement for sole proprietors and unincorporated partnerships, covering business income, expenses and GST/HST considerations.
Accounting Consultation
Sit down with an accounting professional to work through bookkeeping setup, salary versus dividends, GST/HST registration timing, expense tracking and what your business should be recording from day one.
Contracts & Agreements
Drafting and review of the documents your business runs on — service agreements, client contracts, independent contractor agreements, NDAs and shareholder or partnership agreements.
Digitalization
Move your corporate records online. We scan, organize and index your minute book, filings and certificates into a searchable digital set you can share with your bank, accountant or lawyer in seconds.
Website Design
A clean, mobile-friendly business website with your services, contact details and enquiry form — built so customers and search engines can find and understand what you do.
Add Your Business to Google Maps
We create and verify your Google Business Profile so your company appears in Google Maps and local search results, with correct hours, service area, categories and contact details.
Add Your Business to Microsoft
Listing and verification on Bing Places for Business, so your company shows up in Bing Maps and Microsoft search — a channel many Canadian businesses leave empty.
Phone Consultation
Comprehensive Support Service
Ongoing support for owners who’d rather not track deadlines themselves. We stay on top of your annual return, registry updates and corporate record changes, and you have a point of contact when something comes up.
How to order additional business services
Tell us where your business is at
Choose your services
Pick the services that apply — CRA and WSIB/WCB accounts, a minute book, a tax return, digitalization or online listings. If you’re not sure, a phone consultation sorts it out before you spend anything.
Send your details and documents
We collect what’s needed for each service: your incorporation documents, director and shareholder details, business activity and, for tax work, your financial records.
We complete the filing or build the deliverable
Government registrations are filed on your behalf, physical items are shipped to your address, and digital files arrive by email — ready to use with your bank, accountant or clients.
Why additional business services matter after you register
Registration gets your business a legal name and a number. It doesn’t open your CRA accounts, keep your minute book current, register you for workers’ compensation, or put you on the map when a customer searches for what you sell. Those gaps tend to show up at the worst moments — when a bank asks for your minute book, when a client requires proof of WSIB coverage, or when a CRA deadline has already passed. Handling them early is far cheaper and simpler than fixing them later, and it keeps your corporation in good standing with the registry that holds your file.
A registered paralegal firm supporting Canadian businesses beyond registration.
Incorporation Registry is a Canadian filing service that helps business owners register their companies and keep them running properly afterwards. We work with founders incorporating for the first time, and with accountants, lawyers and advisors handling filings on behalf of clients.
Our additional business services exist because registration is rarely the last step. Owners come back needing a CRA program account, a minute book their bank will accept, a corporate tax return, or a listing so customers can actually find them. We handle those requests directly, explain what’s genuinely required versus optional for your structure and province, and deal with the registry or CRA when something needs following up.

Additional Business Services: Questions, Answered
What are additional business services?
Additional business services are the add-on services a business needs after it’s registered — CRA and WSIB/WCB account setup, minute books, corporate kits and seals, tax return preparation, contracts, digitalization of corporate records, website design and business listings on Google Maps and Microsoft.
Do I have to incorporate with you to order these services?
No. Every additional business service can be ordered on its own, whether your company was registered through us, through another provider, or directly with the registry.
Which additional business services do I need right after incorporating?
Most new corporations start with three: a CRA business number with the right program accounts, a minute book to hold their corporate records, and WSIB or WCB registration if they have employees or work in a covered industry.
What is the difference between a minute book and a corporate kit?
A minute book is the set of corporate records themselves — articles, by-laws, registers and resolutions. A corporate kit is the full package: the minute book plus a corporate seal, share certificates and a binder to hold everything.
Is a minute book legally required in Canada?
Yes. Federal and provincial corporate legislation requires corporations to maintain records of their directors, shareholders, officers, by-laws and resolutions. Banks, accountants and buyers routinely ask to see them.
Do I need a corporate seal in Canada?
A corporate seal isn’t legally required for most Canadian corporations, but many banks, lenders and institutions still request an embossed seal on share certificates and executed documents.
What is CRA and WSIB/WCB registration?
CRA registration gives your business a business number and the program accounts you need — GST/HST, payroll, corporate income tax or import/export. WSIB (Ontario) or WCB (other provinces) is workplace injury coverage, required for most businesses with employees and for many contractors.
When does my corporation have to register for GST/HST?
Generally once your business passes $30,000 in taxable revenue over four consecutive calendar quarters. Many businesses register voluntarily before that to claim input tax credits.
Does my corporation have to file a T2 return if it made no money?
Yes. Every corporation resident in Canada must file a T2 corporate income tax return each year, even if it had no income or no activity at all.
What's the difference between the SP tax return and the corporate tax return?
What does digitalization include?
We scan, organize and index your corporate records — minute book, filings, certificates and registers — into a searchable digital set you can store securely and share with your bank, accountant or lawyer.
Can you list my business on Google Maps and Microsoft?
Yes. We create and verify your Google Business Profile so you appear in Google Maps and local search, and set up your listing on Bing Places for Business for Microsoft search and Bing Maps.
What is a Company Key and do I need one?
A Company Key is the security code Corporations Canada issues to federal corporations for online filings such as annual returns and changes to directors. If you incorporated federally and don’t have one, we can request it for you.
